ERA and Meridian Credit Union Donate Laptops to York Region Educational Services

By electronic recycling association July 2, 2024

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to announce its recent collaboration with Meridian Credit Union, a partnership that has resulted in a technology donation to York Region Educational Services in Ontario.  Through this initiative, ERA and Meridian Credit Union have donated 10 laptops to enhance the computer lab used for children’s programs and volunteer workstations.

York Region Educational Services provide individuals in York Region with educational resources in a safe and supporting environment that inspires, motivates and sets the foundation for personal growth.

At ERA, we recognize the transformative power of technology in educational environments. This donation aims to enrich the learning experiences of children and support the crucial work of volunteers at York Region Educational Services. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Meridian Credit Union for their invaluable partnership and commitment to making a positive impact in the community.

It is thanks to partnerships like these that ERA can continue its mission of repurposing technology for charitable causes. Together with Meridian Credit Union and other generous supporters, we strive to bridge the digital divide and foster inclusive educational opportunities across York Region.
