Day 10 of ERA’s 12 Days of Electronic Giving
The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to continue its 12 Days of Electronic Giving, an annual campaign designed to address the digital divide across communities in Canada. Through the refurbishment and donation of electronics, we empower non-profits and individuals with the tools necessary to succeed in today’s digital landscape.
Day 10: Delivering Technology Where It’s Needed Most
On the tenth day of our initiative, ERA made impactful donations to the following organizations:
Calgary Immigrant Women’s Association (Calgary, AB): ERA donated 8 laptops to CIWA, which will be distributed to clients, further supporting their efforts to empower immigrant women in Calgary.
Centre for Newcomers (Calgary, AB): ERA donated 3 laptops to assist newcomers to Canada with school, job searches, and other essential activities as they settle into their new lives.
ERA remains dedicated to reducing e-waste by redistributing refurbished electronics to communities in need. However, over 500 charities across Canada are still on the waiting list for donations.
If you have unused electronics gathering dust, consider donating them to ERA. Your contributions can help provide vital tools for education, empowerment, and community development.
