ERA Donates Laptops to the Craft Council of British Columbia
The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to support the Craft Council of British Columbia (CCBC) with the donation of two much-needed laptops. As a not-for-profit organization that champions professional craftspeople across the province, CCBC plays a vital role in promoting contemporary craft and nurturing a thriving creative community in British Columbia.
Located in Vancouver, CCBC operates a small but impactful social enterprise that includes a gallery and gift shop showcasing the exceptional work of its members. In an effort to modernize and streamline their operations, the organization recently migrated its inventory management system to Shopify. However, limited resources made it difficult to acquire the necessary devices to fully support this transition.
That’s where ERA stepped in. By donating two laptops, we’re helping CCBC continue its mission to uplift and promote local artists, while also strengthening its digital capabilities. These devices will enable staff and volunteers to manage online sales more efficiently and engage a wider audience.
The ERA is committed to reducing electronic waste and bridging the digital divide by repurposing technology and donating it to charitable and nonprofit organizations across Canada. We are thrilled that these laptops will help CCBC enhance its operations and continue showcasing the talents of British Columbia’s creative community.
