ERA Donates Devices to Association Vive La Vie in Montreal
The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to support Association Vive La Vie, a Montreal-based organization dedicated to helping vulnerable communities, including seniors from allophone backgrounds. As part of our ongoing mission to reduce e-waste and support digital inclusion across Canada, ERA recently donated a desktop computer, laptop, printer, and projector to support their impactful work.
This donation is being used in two significant ways. First, the desktop computer and printer are helping the organization meet the demands of their daily operations—improving efficiency and streamlining services. Second, the projector and laptop are being used for a new initiative focused on computer literacy for elderly individuals whose first language is not English or French.
This project aims to bridge the digital divide by providing seniors with the tools and training they need to confidently use technology for everyday tasks like accessing online services, connecting with family, and managing personal affairs.
ERA is thrilled to contribute to such meaningful work and continues to encourage Canadian organizations to donate their unwanted electronics. By doing so, they can support nonprofits like Association Vive La Vie while keeping reusable tech out of landfills.
