ERA Donates Devices to the Canadian Alliance for Self-Determination
At the Electronic Recycling Association (ERA), our mission goes beyond reducing e-waste—we’re committed to empowering communities across Canada by bridging the digital divide. We’re proud to announce a recent donation of a laptop and desktop computer to the Canadian Alliance for Self-Determination, an organization dedicated to supporting individuals in their journey toward self-reliance and personal growth.

This donation will enable the Canadian Alliance for Self-Determination’s staff to enhance their service delivery and provide essential technology to clients who may not otherwise have access. For many, access to a working computer is the key to education, employment opportunities, and community support programs.
By repurposing electronic devices and redistributing them to charities and non-profits, the ERA not only extends the life of valuable tech but also helps organizations like the Canadian Alliance for Self-Determination increase their capacity to serve.
Help Us Make a Greater Impact
This donation is just one example of how the ERA is helping over 500+ Canadian charities and non-profits meet their tech needs. If your organization is looking to donate unwanted electronics or if you’re a charity in need of devices, we encourage you to get involved.
Together, we can create a more sustainable and connected future—one device at a time.
