ERA Donates Laptop to Support Newcomer Family Through Edmonton Immigrant Services Association

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to support newcomers to Canada through a recent technology donation to the Edmonton Immigrant Services Association (EISA) in Edmonton, Alberta.

This donation—consisting of a refurbished laptop—was provided to a newly arrived family in need of a computer to assist with essential tasks such as job searching, school assignments, and staying connected in their new community. Access to reliable technology is a crucial step in helping immigrants and refugees build a successful life in Canada, and ERA is honored to play a small role in that journey.

The Edmonton Immigrant Services Association works tirelessly to support immigrant families as they settle in Edmonton, offering services that include employment assistance, language programs, and educational support. The laptop donation from ERA will help bridge the digital divide and empower this family with the tools they need to thrive.

At ERA, we believe in giving back to the community while reducing electronic waste. By refurbishing and donating computers and other devices, we extend the life of valuable technology while supporting individuals, nonprofits, and community organizations across Canada.
