In 2019, Action for Healthy Communities (A4HC) became one of ERA’s partners. With this relationship, both ERA and A4HC work together to create more awareness for both organizations whether it be through posting on social media, working on collection events and/or donating laptops to A4HC.
Action for Healthy Communities is a registered charity serving the needs of youth, seniors, and adults in Greater Edmonton. Their mission is committed to fostering individual and group participation and action to improve the comprehensive and holistic health of diverse communities. Their objective is to build the capacity of individuals and groups to improve their lives and communities through a unique community-building process, including support, mentoring and training.
ERA donated 11 laptops to this partner back in November bringing their total donations received from ERA this year to just shy of 50 laptops. These laptops will be used to benefit their newcomer students who study within their youth program.
