The ERA was pleased to donate a desktop and 2 projectors to the Arsi Oromo Alberta Foundation (AOAF). The devices will help the AOAF with their mission to empower families and youth in Education and Life Skills in the Edmonton area.
The AOAF fosters and improves the comprehensive and holistic health of diverse communities. They empower low-income refugees, newcomers, young people, and vulnerable individuals to improve their lives and communities through a unique community-building process, including support, mentoring, and training.
The Arsi Oromo Alberta Foundation services are diverse and include all forms of humanitarian efforts aimed at alleviating the suffering experienced by low-income families and youths in need. Other services in the future will include victims of rape, domestic violence, and drug addicts. Services are targeted at significantly alleviating these negative and harmful effects. These services are capital intensive, which makes this non-profit to be reliant on the assistance of donor groups and individuals.
