This initiative continues to empower communities across Canada by providing access to refurbished electronics, fostering digital inclusion, and promoting sustainable practices.
Here’s how Day 4 made an impact:
Adoption Options – Calgary, AB
- Donated Items: 4 Desktop Computers
- Impact: These desktops will enhance the organization’s office operations, enabling staff to continue supporting their important work in adoption services.
- Donated Items: 2 Laptops
- Impact: These laptops are destined for high school students in the Home Stay program, providing them with essential tools for education and personal development.
Taber and District Housing Foundation- Taber, AB
- Donated Items: 7 Desktop Computers
- Impact: These desktops will replace older refurbished computers in the common areas of three manor buildings, benefitting 25-30 low-income senior tenants. Many residents rely on these computers to access the internet for news, social media, and email since they cannot afford personal devices or internet services.
Alberta Children’s Hospital- Calgary, AB
- Donated Items: 5 Cell Phones
- Impact: The donated phones will support families in the Complex Care Program who face significant health, social, and financial challenges. These devices will enable families to attend virtual appointments and access critical resources, making a real difference in their lives.
