Day 9 of the Electronic Recycling Association’s (ERA) 12 Days of Electronic Giving highlights the incredible impact of donated electronics on local communities and organizations.
The Toronto Catholic District School Board received 1 projector to empower a library teacher who previously lacked access to such a tool. With this donation, students can now enjoy educational videos and read-aloud content, making their learning experiences more engaging and interactive.
Canada Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) received 4 laptops for their Canadian National Leadership Conference (CNLC). These devices ensure that all students, regardless of personal access to technology, can participate in their events and showcase the skills they’ve worked hard to develop.
Christ’s Commission Fellowship Calgary (CPMI)/CCF received 6 laptops, 2 desktop computers, and 3 projectors. These devices will enhance interactive learning in the Kid’s Ministry, support youth in developing technical skills, and enrich the church’s Music Program with access to music software for practice and worship coordination. By donating electronics, we’re fostering creativity, learning, and spiritual growth in a technology-driven world.
ERA is committed to reducing e-waste and redistributing refurbished electronics to those who need them most. However, more than 500+ charities across Canada are still waiting for donations.
If you have unused electronics gathering dust, consider donating them to ERA. Your contributions can help provide essential tools for education, empowerment, and community development.
