The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) and community partners will be hosting a public Fraud Prevention Month event at Edmonton City Hall and media are invited to attend.
The event will include an official proclamation from Mayor Amarjeet Sohi followed by brief comments from the EPS and Alberta Blue Cross.
On March 1, 2023 the High Level Bridge will also be lit up blue and white in the National Fraud Prevention Month colours.

Detective Trevor Semotiuk from the EPS Financial Crimes Unit and other partners will be available for comment following the brief program.
Community partners include Alberta Blue Cross, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Edmonton Neighbourhood Watch, Electronic Recycling Association, Edmonton Police Services, RCMP, Real Estate Council of Alberta, and Service Alberta and Red Tape Reduction.
