We are excited to announce a unique opportunity to protect your personal information and raise awareness about an important issue affecting our community. Join us for a special event combining our Shred-a-Thon, sponsored by Gulf and Fraser, with Elder Abuse Awareness Day.

Secure Shredding Services:

Spring cleaning is the perfect time to clear out unwanted electronics and paper clutter. At our Shred-a-Thon, you can ensure your data and personal information are securely handled. We will have secure electronic and paper shredding services available on-site.

Electronic Recycling:

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) will provide secure data wiping before recycling or refurbishing your items. Collected items will be donated to charities in the Langley, BC area, giving back to the community while ensuring your data is protected.

What to Expect:

Mobile Shredder Service: The ERA will bring a portable hard drive shredder, allowing the public to securely shred their personal devices free of charge. Devices that can be brought include:

  • Phones
  • Gaming consoles
  • Music players
  • Stereo equipment
  • Computers
  • Handheld devices
  • Printers
  • Other electronic equipment containing personal data
