The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) recently donated 4 laptops to the African Canadian Social Development Council (ACSDC) in Toronto, providing vital IT support for the annual Conference. This event brings together over 500 participants, both in-person and online, to engage in meaningful discussions about combating racism.
The laptops will be used by volunteers to ensure the smooth operation of the conference workshops, which involve brainstorming, sharing experiences, and developing strategies to address systemic racism in their communities. In addition to the laptops, the council is seeking further support, including a projector, to enhance the conference’s technological capabilities.
The ERA is a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing unnecessary electronic waste by recycling and repurposing used electronics. We work with local companies to safely and securely repurpose IT equipment. Through our efforts, we partner with community charities to provide refurbished computers and electronics to those in need. Join our mission to reduce e-waste by recycling your unwanted devices with the ERA.
Donating your used electronics is as simple as contacting us online or giving us a call. You can schedule a pick-up with our team or visit one of our donation depots Canada-wide. We accept used desktops, laptops, computer peripherals, software, and more.
