The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to support The Centre for Refugee Children in Toronto, ON, by donating four desktop computers and a printer. These essential devices will enhance digital access for refugee and migrant children, providing them with the technology needed to support their academic success.
As a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing e-waste through repurposed electronics, ERA works to bridge the digital divide by refurbishing and donating computers, laptops, and other IT equipment to charities, schools, and community organizations across Canada. By extending the lifespan of electronic devices, ERA helps keep valuable technology out of landfills while providing essential digital resources to those in need.
Founded in 2021, The Centre for Refugee Children is dedicated to assisting refugee and migrant children arriving in Ontario, particularly those who are unaccompanied or separated from their families. The organization provides comprehensive support, including immigration and legal aid, access to education and healthcare, child welfare navigation, and essential resources for shelter and basic needs.
