The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is excited to announce its recent donation of 7 cell phones to the Calgary Mental Health Association (CMHA) in Alberta. This donation is part of ERA’s ongoing commitment to supporting charities and organizations that help individuals in need.
CMHA provides essential services to individuals with disabilities, promoting independent living skills and helping them connect with vital resources, including employment and education opportunities. Many of the individuals CMHA supports are on the Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped (AISH) program, making it financially difficult to afford essential technology like mobile phones and laptops.
Earlier this year, CMHA applied for a donation from ERA, requesting 7 laptops and 7 cell phones to distribute to individuals who need them most. ERA was able to fulfill the request for cell phones, empowering these individuals to stay connected with family, access online resources, and pursue employment opportunities.
While CMHA has received the mobile phones, they are still in need of laptops. If you or your organization would like to donate laptops or other electronic devices to support CMHA or similar charities, please contact the Electronic Recycling Association. Your contribution could help transform lives by providing access to crucial technology.
