The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to announce a recent donation of a laptop to the Riseup Society Alberta, located in Leduc, Alberta. This laptop will play a crucial role in helping their therapist deliver therapy sessions virtually, ensuring that individuals in need of support can access counseling from anywhere.
Established in 2007, Riseup Society Alberta is a registered charity dedicated to addressing the realities of domestic violence and abuse. They provide individual and group support, counseling, and vital resources for those affected by intimate partner violence. In addition to direct services, Riseup educates individuals and community groups about how to prevent and address intimate partner violence, working towards a future free from abuse.
The laptop provided by ERA will help Riseup’s therapist conduct therapy sessions online, offering a more flexible and accessible way for clients to receive support. With the growing demand for virtual services, this donation comes at a critical time, ensuring that those impacted by intimate partner violence can continue to receive the care they need.
