The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is thrilled to share the news of our latest contribution: the donation of four laptops to Ankany Sembana Mijoro in Madagascar. This organization plays a vital role in empowering disabled children by providing them with computer education in their dedicated computer room.
Ankany Sembana Mijoro was established by a remarkable couple who themselves live with disabilities. Their mission is to assist homeless children with disabilities, offering them a safe haven and necessary support. The center accommodates both resident children and those who return after their daily activities.
Recognizing the importance of technology in today’s world, ERA stepped in to provide four laptops to Ankany Sembana Mijoro. These laptops will facilitate computer-based learning for the children, helping them gain valuable digital skills. By equipping them with the tools they need, we hope to enhance their educational experience and open up new opportunities for their future.
We are proud to support Ankany Sembana Mijoro in their noble efforts to improve the lives of disabled children in Madagascar. At ERA, we believe in the transformative power of technology, and through initiatives like this, we aim to bridge the digital divide and create a more inclusive society. We look forward to continuing our partnership with organizations like Ankany Sembana Mijoro and making a positive impact in communities around the world.
Viewing regular access to a personal computer as a non-essential luxury is a thing of the past. Even basic activities now require the use of a computer; applying for a job, completing school work, staying in touch with family or even something as simple as looking up a bus route is difficult without a computer. The Electronic Recycling Association has developed a charitable computer donation program to address exactly that problem. At ERA, we believe in doing our part to reduce our environmental impact and encourage goodwill among our communities. When you recycle your electronics, you’re making a difference in your community and in the world at large.
