Back in October one of Africa Inland Mission’s coaches to a large organization in Ethiopia known as the Ethiopian Kale Heywet Church reached out to ERA for a donation of IT equipment. He makes four, one-month-long trips annually to coach a team of their senior leaders. While there he wanted to be able to provide laptops to a number of the global workers which they send out through their office and ERA was happy to help by donating laptops for the first trip of the year.
During his first to Ethiopia he donated a laptop to Pastor Abayneh, Director of Meserete Kristos Church’s (a denomination) missions department and a laptop to Rev. Gashahun, Director of the Ethiopian Global Harvest Alliance.

Viewing regular access to a personal computer as a non-essential luxury is a thing of the past. Even basic activities now require the use of a computer; applying for a job, completing school work, staying in touch with family or even something as simple as looking up a bus route is difficult without a computer. The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) has developed a charitable computer donation program to address exactly that problem.
