By electronic recycling association October 16, 2024

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to announce the donation of two printers to the Trades Guild in Calgary, AB. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to helping homeless and marginalized individuals in the community gain trade skills and receive mentorship, empowering them to break the cycle of poverty and hardship.

Trades Guild recently secured a new location and is in need of essential office equipment to run their operations effectively. The donation of these printers will support the administrative work behind their impactful programs.

At Trades Guild, the focus is on providing second chances to highly marginalized youth who face significant challenges, including unemployment, homelessness, addiction, mental health issues, or lack of formal education. The organization’s life skills program offers a lifeline, equipping participants with support, mentorship, and on-the-job training to help them build a brighter future.
