The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is happy to provide Blackfalds Food Bank Society with 1 desktop computer and a printer. Blackfalds Food Bank provides food hampers and food security programs for those in need. They are turning hunger into hope by empowering the community to aid those in need of food support through educational programs and awareness. This donation will be used to meet the growing needs of their community food bank in the area of administration.
Blackfalds Food Bank acts as a bridge between the community and those in need by seeking, receiving, and administering donations from individuals, groups, and businesses, and distributing those resources to the less fortunate members of the community. They also provide referral services to other agencies that might better serve the needs of their members.
They cater to those in a variety of situations, ranging from single-parenthood, to seniors on fixed incomes, to the under or unemployed, or to those with other social or economic barriers. They have been providing emergency food services to citizens of Blackfalds and area since 2001. Since then, they have grown exponentially as the community recognizes, assesses, and attempts to satisfy the needs of those in crisis. Rest assured that your data will be safe and secure. We complete on-site and off-site data destruction to prevent data being recovered from old equipment. We physically destroy data using our AmeriShred mobile hard drive shredders for thorough destruction of software data.
