The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) recently donated 10 desktop computers to the Artur Quialunda Foundation. The devices will be going to Africa to help the children and vulnerable people of the village with their education.
Artur Quialunda Foundation is a charitable organization that has a priority to contribute to the fight against poverty in Alberta where they want to collaborate with more organizations with the same objectives. On another coast, their priority is also in Africa- mainly the sick children, orphans, and those with amputations because of war, and for all vulnerable people in Angola, RDC as well as other African countries. They also contribute to the advancement of the education of African children.
The Artur Quialunda Foundation’s Objective and Mission:
- To contribute to the fight against poverty in Alberta and relieve the poverty of African children, principally in Angola second options in Congo RDC,
- To distribute food, medication, and other essential needs
- To contribute to the advancement of the education of the children living in Angola, Congo RDC by the distribution of school materials.
- To relieve poverty and contribute to the improvement of the living conditions of the vulnerable populations inf Africa by providing food, drugs, and other products of primary needs.
- To develop and promote public health by setting up a health centre in Africa (Angola), managed by volunteers, in order to offer health care and medicine departments.
- To fight against malnutrition in Africa by improving competence in agriculture and food production.
The Artur Quialunda Foundation is still in need of many more laptops and desktops and could use your help. You can get involved by giving your unwanted computers to ERA to be data wiped and refurbished.
