ERA Joins the GivingTuesday Movement by Donating over 100 Devices

By electronic recycling association December 1, 2020

The Electronic Recycling Association is proud to once again be a part of the GivingTuesday movement which unleashes the power of people and organizations to transform communities.

Most people know about Black Friday and Cyber Monday … now we have GivingTuesday. It is a new global movement for giving and volunteering, taking place each year after Black Friday. The “Opening day of the giving season,” it’s a time when charities, companies and individuals join together and rally for favourite causes. In the same way that retailers take part in Black Friday, the giving community has come together for GivingTuesday.

The ERA is sending out a total of 106 devices to charities and non-profit organizations across Canada. The laptops, computers, projectors, printers, cellphones, and tablets will help these organizations work more efficiently. Some of the items will be given to clients who are in need of electronics to stay connected and for children to continue their schooling.
