The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is delighted to have had the opportunity to extend its support to March of Dimes Canada Employment Services through a heartfelt donation of two laptops. March of Dimes Canada is on a mission to enhance the independence, personal empowerment, and community engagement of individuals with disabilities. At ERA, we are thrilled to collaborate with such a remarkable organization, sharing in their vision of a more inclusive society.
One of the laptops donated by ERA found its way to a client facing the challenge of being homebound due to a disability. With a strong desire to find remote job opportunities that would allow them to work comfortably from home, this individual needed a suitable computer. We at ERA were overjoyed to be able to provide the essential tool to support their career aspirations and remote work search.
The second laptop donation was warmly received by a client who dreamt of working from home while also pursuing computer courses. Unfortunately, financial constraints had made it difficult for this individual to access a computer, hindering their path to employment and skills enhancement. It brought us immense satisfaction to bridge this gap and empower this individual with the means to explore work-from-home opportunities and expand their skillset through online courses.
March of Dimes Canada (MODC) mission is to maximize the independence, personal empowerment and community participation of people with disabilities. March of Dimes Canada Employment Services exists to ensure that people with disabilities find and keep meaningful jobs. We are Canada’s leader in matching people who have disabilities with employers seeking qualified job candidates. To learn more about MODC and its programs please visit their website.
