ERA is hosting a Free Electronics Recycling and Data Destruction Event with the Saskatoon Police Service
March is Fraud Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness about protecting personal data and preventing fraud. In an ongoing effort to safeguard community members, the Saskatoon Police Service’s Economic Crime Section has partnered with the Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) to offer a free data destruction and electronics recycling event.
Join Us for This Important Community Initiative:
- Date: Thursday, March 13, 2025
- Time: 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Location: Saskatoon Police Service Headquarters – Gymnasium (access via the west visitor parking lot)
At this event, the Electronic Recycling Association will securely collect and destroy unwanted electronics, helping to ensure your sensitive information doesn’t fall into the wrong hands.
Accepted items include:
- Tablets
- Cell Phones
- Laptops
- Gaming consoles
- Stereo equipment
- Desktop computers
- Handheld devices
- Printers and accessories
- Phone systems
- Servers
- Software
- Routers
Please note: Personal or household appliances will not be accepted.
Members of the Saskatoon Police Service’s Economic Crime Section will also be on hand to answer questions and provide valuable information about data safety and fraud prevention.
