Join the Fall Recycling Collection Drive in Mississauga!

Celebrate Waste Reduction Week and Circular Economy Month by participating in the City of Mississauga’s Fall Recycling Collection Drive! From October 15th to October 27th, drop off your unwanted clothing, textiles, and electronics at your nearest City facility.

This year, the City of Mississauga has partnered with the Electronic Recycling Association (ERA), Toronto & Region Conservation Authority’s Partners in Project Green, and the Diabetes Canada to ensure your donations make a positive impact on the environment and local communities.

What Can You Donate?

Electronics:
ERA will collect and recycle all unwanted electronics, keeping harmful e-waste out of landfills and repurposing devices to benefit those in need. Accepted electronics include:

  • Desktop computers
  • Laptops
  • Printers
  • Keyboards and computer mice
  • Phone systems
  • Handheld devices

Clothing and Textiles:
All clothing and household textiles will be donated to Diabetes Canada. Items you can drop off include:

  • Shoes and boots
  • Accessories (e.g. hats, scarves)
  • Bags
  • Blankets, sheets, and towels
  • Sleeping bags
  • Curtains
  • Soft toys (e.g. stuffed animals)
