The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is thrilled to announce the donation of a laptop and printer to Building Hope Compassionate Association so their members can have access to reliable technology. “We really appreciate the donations,” said case worker John Etim.
Building Hope Compassionate Association addresses the basic needs of low and no-income people in the Beverly community of Edmonton. Since 2000, Building Hope has ensured the hungry are fed, the naked are clothed, the lonely have a place of community, and the lost have an answer in Jesus Christ.
Homeless Outreach is something that the association takes very seriously, and their team is working each and every day to make a positive impact on this problem. Currently they are offering, Emergency food hampers, Laundry, Bus tickets, On site social workers (Wednesday morning), and counseling.
At Building Hope, they are dedicated to stepping up their efforts in feeding the hungry. Through cooperation and community empowerment they believe they can facilitate progress in this area. They are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more and lend your support. For more information about the association please visit their website.
The ERA works with organizations across the country to provide refurbished electronics for their programs. This gives them access to reliable technology while allowing them to apply their resources to what they’re good at: developing programs to help Canadians struggling with poverty, health concerns or are otherwise experiencing misfortune. Because the Electronic Recycling Association is an advocate of equality, we are not specifically affiliated with a given charity. The ERA helps hundreds of charitable organizations each year through the donation of necessary computer equipment. Organizations qualified for donations through ERA’s donation program include: registered charities, non-profit organizations, care facilities (seniors’ homes, hospitals, daycares, etc.) and educational institutions.
We strive to meet reasonable requests for IT and related equipment, such as computers, laptops, projection equipment, printers, phones and related peripherals. Our goal is to fulfill every single reasonable request for a computer donation that we receive, and we are thrilled to announce that we are getting close to achieving this goal. Since 2004, we have donated thousands of computers to Canadians in need and this number grows daily.Schedule a pickup with ERA and contribute to our mission of providing refurbished computers to those in need.
