Join us as a new or renewed member this April and we’ll plant a tree in your honor.
As you may know, the month of April is Earth Month and we are excited to be part of something so meaningful. Earth day, also known as International Mother Earth Day, is celebrated each year on April 22. The main aim is to raise awareness about the growing concerns of overpopulation, loss of biodiversity, and depleting quality of the environment.
The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA), in partnership with Tree Canada, invites you to take part in our environmental initiative to make a difference in the health of people and our planet. In honor of Earth Month, during the month of April if you join ERA as a new member or as a renewed member, the ERA will plant a tree in your honour through Tree Canada’s National Greening Program
Planting trees through the National Greening Program helps to restore forests and wildlife habitat in Canada and helps contribute to cleaner soil and waterways. Not only that – it cleans the air. Canadians can breathe easier knowing that every tree planted helps to combat climate change, absorbing carbon dioxide emissions and producing oxygen. The trees that are planted will be a living legacy that benefits communities for decades to come.
From April 1 to April 30, 2022 use promo code EARTHDAY2022 when signing up for your membership and an ERA representative will get you started.

About Electronic Recycling Association (ERA)
The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is a non-profit organization founded in 2004 to address the growing problem of e-waste and the increasing ‘digital divide’. ERA offers simple solutions to help individuals and organizations prevent operational equipment from premature destruction. With a focus on recovery, refurbishment, and reuse, ERA continuously supplies charitable groups with donated IT equipment while securely managing the retiring IT assets of organizations and individuals across Canada.
About Tree Canada
Tree Canada is the only national non-profit organization dedicated to planting and nurturing trees in rural and urban environments, in every province and territory across the country. We help to grow Canada’s tree canopy through our programs, research, and engagement efforts and by offering grants to communities and schools. We are thought-leaders and capacity-builders, collaborating with a network of industry experts, academics, and other non-profits to deepen community knowledge and help municipalities plan and sustain local canopy. Together with our partners and sponsors, we have planted more than 84 million trees.
