Calgary, AB (August 15th, 2023) – The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is delighted to announce a remarkable collaboration with Repsol, a leading global energy company, to support and uplift local non-profit organizations in Calgary. Through this partnership, ERA will donate a total of 150 electronic devices, including laptops, desktop computers, and smartphones, benefiting eight esteemed organizations: Alberta Health Services Adolescent Addiction & Mental Health, Canadian Mental Health Association, Centre for Newcomers, Calgary Dream Centre, Alberta Collegiate Robotics, Autism For Life, We Care Daycare & Out Of School Care, and the Calgary John Howard Society.
ERA recognizes the tremendous financial challenges faced by non-profits, and the vital role technology plays in their operations. With sincere gratitude to Repsol and the generous contributions from companies like them, ERA can make a significant impact. By uniting with Repsol, we aim to provide essential IT resources to these Calgary-based organizations, empowering them to train, assist, and nurture the communities they serve.
The forthcoming donation from Repsol and ERA will encompass 50 laptops, 50 desktop computers, and 50 smartphones, thoughtfully distributed among the above-mentioned organizations. This contribution will enhance their operational efficiency, improve communication channels, and empower the individuals they support by granting them access to modern technology.
ERA remains committed in its commitment to fostering community development, environmental sustainability, and social responsibility. Through this meaningful donation initiative, we strive to create a positive and lasting impact, strengthening the invaluable work carried out by these organizations, ultimately benefiting the individuals and communities they support.
