The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to partner with SATOV Consultants to provide 5 laptops to Native Child and Family Services. The Native Youth Resource Centre will be using this donation to provide GED students with laptops as well as provide individuals using their drop-in services with an opportunity to use a laptop in the resource centre’s space.
ERA values the relationships we develop with our clients and love when they get involved in our donation activities!

Native Child and Family Services of Toronto established the Youth Department and services in 1992 as a direct response to the issues identified by frontline workers in the community. In response to the growing population of homelessness, unemployed, and street involved youth, NCFST implemented a culture-based youth strategy to address the needs of Aboriginal men and women under the age of 25. Based at the Native Youth Resource Centre (NYRC), NCFST youth programming has evolved significantly and remains a vibrant and busy portfolio exclusive to Aboriginal youth. Notable services include cultural programs, recreational activities, Drop-in Services, the Aboriginal Youth Employment Skills Building (AYESB) program and our 7th Generation Image Makers Arts program.
The Native Youth Resource Centre provides support and advocacy in the areas of housing, education and employment for Aboriginal youth ages sixteen to twenty-four. While many of our clients have been involved with our Child Welfare services, some are Aboriginal youth who have recently arrived in Toronto. All are seeking opportunities, supports and stability.
