ERA Donates Smartphone and Laptop to Clients of the Canadian Mental Health Association
The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to support mental health initiatives across Canada by providing access to refurbished technology. ERA donated a smartphone and a laptop to two different clients of the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA)—offering each individual the tools they need to stay connected and empowered.
Technology plays a crucial role in supporting mental health. A smartphone can be a lifeline to crisis support, medical appointments, and loved ones, while a laptop enables access to educational resources, job opportunities, and virtual therapy. For individuals facing challenges with mental health, access to these devices can make a world of difference.
These donations reflect ERA’s commitment to bridging the digital divide and supporting vulnerable populations. By refurbishing and donating electronics, ERA not only diverts e-waste from landfills but also empowers individuals through technology.

If your organization works with individuals in need and could benefit from donated laptops, desktops, smartphones, or other devices, we encourage you to apply for a donation today.
You can also help by donating your unwanted electronics to ERA. Every item collected is either responsibly recycled or refurbished and donated—helping both the planet and people in need.
