The Electronic Recycling Association’s 2024 Scholarship Winners

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) extends our heartfelt thanks to all participants in our Scholarship Competition! This initiative brought together applicants from across Canada, all united in their efforts to collect e-waste and raise awareness about the importance of electronic reuse and recycling.

Each participant’s dedication to sustainability has made a meaningful impact—not only in protecting our environment but also in helping ERA provide essential technology to those in need. Your contributions are truly commendable, and we are grateful for your efforts.

2024 Scholarship Award Recipients:

  1. Jazmine Cabaluna & Callum Rettie – $10,000 (plus a MacBook Pro and three laptops for charitable donation)
  2. Carter Rettie – $5,000 (plus a MacBook Pro and three laptops for charitable donation)
  3. Alex Bourre – $3,000 (plus a MacBook Pro and three laptops for charitable donation)
  4. Carson Weeks – $1,000 (plus a MacBook Pro and three laptops for charitable donation)
  5. Haley Nicholson – $1,000 (plus a MacBook Pro and three laptops for charitable donation)
  6. Ava Countryman – MacBook Pro and three laptops for charitable donation
  7. Maliya Sattaur – MacBook Pro and three laptops for charitable donation
  8. Abbi Balkwill – MacBook Pro and three laptops for charitable donation

We are thrilled to announce that the ERA Scholarship Competition will return for the 2025 cycle, running from January to September 2025. We look forward to seeing even more innovative ideas and community engagement next year!
